As the name implies, this necklace is made from colors that to me are all about serenity. Made almost entirely of fluorite which is a stone that transitions from almost clear through to dark purple, this piece includes fluorite chips and rounds in so many shades of white, pink, mauve, purple & green and some of the beads have several of those shades. The large free cut polished nuggets are amethyst. I love to use these more natural, 'less than perfect' stones to remind us of where these things come from. I see them as more perfect for that reason. Some have a bit of white and a little rough spot here and there. It all comes together so perfectly. I have taken considerable time to add tiny sterling silver spacers on either side of every stone, however small and in some cases a tiny glass tube bead further enhances the stone. My sterling silver hand formed closed S is not a clasp but could be made into one if you wish. I can simply add a hook and have it fasten into that closed S. This necklace is meant to be put over the head in that it measures 38 inches in length. Of course, the entire piece is created in sterling silver.
